Pacific Ocean Marine Insurance Brokers, Inc. was originally founded in 1993 to provide a more specialized brokerage service to the San Pedro and San Diego-based tuna fleets.

The majority of the Company’s business emanated from North America, which still remains the principle area of our activities. However, over the past several years, the necessary strengths to handle a more worldwide portfolio of business has been added. Such specialized know-how and experience gained over a quarter of a century has attracted “tuna” business from around the world.

Accordingly, we have been able to extend our services throughout the U.S. and the world, including American Samoa, Columbia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan.

A vast wealth of experience exists within the Company, with the managing director having over 30 years of dedicated service to the fishing and insurance industries.

This is the foundation for the Company’s reputation as a committed and knowledgeable team providing a high level of skill, dedication and service to its clients. But as the Ocean Marine Industry is evolving every day, so are we.

We at Pacific Ocean Marine Insurance Brokers, Inc. have expanded into new lines of Ocean Marine Insurance including coverage for Charter & Sportfishing Vessels, Yachts, and Marina Operators & Ship Repairers.
